What else is changing on our website?

We (my Daughter Patty and myself) are in the process of updating hundreds of Commentary articles as well as our Charts and FAQS dating from 2003 all the way to the present. The updates will involve a review and update of every example for 2009. Also, the figures are being checked for accuracy, and we are changing the example dates to 2009 and for COLA changes as applicable. This is being done one year at a time (we started with 2003); and it should be completed in January. We are also adding additional links to related articles that changed information in an earlier article.

Why what else? Because earlier this year we completely updated and re-organized the myriad of retirement information on our website. Below is an overview of how this information was relocated into the McKay Hochman Library.

Where are the articles, charts, FAQs on our new website?
To find the commentary articles and other retirement content on our newly redesigned website, start at the Resource Center and select McKay Hochman Library from the drop-down menu. All of the commentary articles, charts, and FAQs you’re familiar with are there — and more.

The “landing page” for the library is our new Research Topics page. This page contains over 60 topics. Each one links to a page with commentary articles and FAQs pertinent to that subject. To reach other main sections of our library, use the navigation menu on the left.

Click on the Commentary link to find 400 articles converted from the old MHCO website. As before, they are in alphabetical order by subject key word with a co-subject. The Charts link in the navigation menu takes you to all of our charts, and the DOL/IRS link connects you to a page featuring a wealth of official resources and links.

Looking for something from a current or past e-mail alert? Click on E-mail Alerts in the navigation menu. Stored by year, the alerts contain all original links and articles. The final entry on the navigation menu is the News Archive. This area, formerly known as the “hot topics” area, is a chronological list of every article written from 2003 to the present.
